In the Hopp app, you can turn on the Cruising mode feature that limits the speed of the scooters you rent to 15km/h (9mph).
This is a very good feature for beginners that might be a bit uncertain about riding the scooters.
Turn it on before renting
The option to toggle on cruising mode is visible before a scooter is rented with the app.
To do this just find a scooter and scan the QR code and toggle on the Cruising mode.
Turn on in settings
Cruising mode can be turned on by default in the settings.
To do this, first open the Menu in the Hopp app and go to settings.
Then, in the vehicles section, toggle on the cruising mode.
Turn on mid-ride
If you have already started your ride you can simply open the menu and go to the settings and from there turn on cruising mode.
