Why was I charged twice for one ride?

Check your bank statement and verify if the charges are pre-auth holds or faulty charges.

If you see two charges for a single ride, you first must verify if this is the case or not.

Pre-authorization check

A pre-authorization check may be placed on your card and it will show up as "pending" on your bank statement. A pre-auth check is not an actual charge and will be released.

As of September 2023, the pre-auth per currency is as follows:

  • 800 ISK for scooters and 3000 ISK for cars

  • 3 - 10 EUR

  • 5 USD

  • 5 CHF

  • 15 PLN

  • 50 DKK

  • 60 SEK

  • 1500-3000 HUF

Charged twice for same amount

If you see the same amount charged twice and you are certain one of them isn't a per-auth hold then you should reach out to customer support via the app and we'll check it out.
