When a ride is paused, you pay a lower minute fee than while riding. The vehicle remains locked and can't be driven by anyone. The app is also used to unlock the ride.
Pausing the ride
During an active ride you can press the three-dots button on the right, and the option to pause appears.
The maximum pause time is 2 hours, after which the ride ends automatically and you are charged for the ride.
Unpausing the ride
When a ride is paused, you see a button labeled "Unlock" instead of the regular End ride button. If you press the three-dots button, you can see a resume and end-ride option.
End of ride prompt
Pressing the End Ride button will trigger a prompt that asks you if you want to pause the ride or end it.
