There are many Hopp operations in many different countries, and the cost of using Hopp can differ. We always try to price the services as low as possible to make them as accessible as possible for our customers.
A temporary holding fee may be placed on payment cards at the start of a ride. This is a method that verifies the validity of the cards.
This is not is not treated as a charge.

Scooter prices
When renting Hopp e-scooters, you pay to start the ride and for each minute thereafter.
You can pause the scooter for a lower Pausing vehicles results in a lower minute fee.
Use the app to check the prices in your area before renting a scooter.

To see the price list in the app, first select a scooter on the map.
Next, you must press the β-button next to the price on the screen.
There, you can see a complete breakdown of the prices.
Scooter parking penalty
Some locations charge a parking penalty for scooters if they are parked outside of the service area. You can see the penalty cost in the price list.
Car sharing prices
Car sharing is charged the same as scooters, except it costs to reserve a car for each minute it is reserved, for a total of 30 minutes at a time.

Next, you must press the β-button next to the price on the screen.
Here you can see the prices for renting Hopp cars. Note that ending a ride outside of the operating zone results in a penalty of 30,000 ISK.

Breaking the rules and terms of service of Hopp car sharing may result in a fine.
